Shopping List
  • 1 Turkey neck
  • 3 tbsp Canola Oil
  • 1 Cup Mushrooms
  • 1 Cup Diced Onion
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tbsp Pepper
  • 4 Cups Water
  • 1 tbsp Flour
  • 1/2 Cup Almond Milk

Time 1 hours and 45 minutes

Turkey Neck Gravy by Custom TasteChop the neck into 1 inch piece
Cut into the bone until it sticks to the knife, raise your knife and slam it down on the cutting board it will help to break through the neck more easily and acuratly than sawing or leaving the neck on the board and hack at it with the knife
Heat 2 tbsp of oil in medium pot

Once the neck pieces are browned add the water and scrape the bottom

Add 1 tbsp oil to the medium skillet and let it heat up until it shimmers
Once the oil is ready add in the onions and mushrooms

Add everything in the skillet to the pot
Mix together and bring to simmer

If you have any turkey drippings add to pot along with flour after the 1 hour
Let simmer and thicken up for additional 30 minutes
Remove from heat and serve

Serving
1/4 cup serving size. Serve on anything of your choosing
