
Ingredients
- 2 tbsp Milled Flax Seed
- 1 1/4 Cup Granulated Sugar
- 1 1/4 Cup Pumpkin Puree
- 1/4 Cup Vegetable Oil
- 1 Sachet Chai Tea
- 1 tsp Cinnamon
- 1 Cup and 3 tbsp Warm Water
- 3 Apples (optional)

Handheld Electric Mixer or stand mixer or a lot of elbow grease (not recommended)

Measuring Cup, tsp and tbsp
Time 15 minutes to 20 minutes
Prep 15 minutes to 20 minutes
Cooking 15 minutes to 20 minutes
Yield 3 Cups
Time To Get Cooking!!!
Mix together 1 cup sugar and 1 cup water in small pot and bring to a simmer
Th mixture should result in the consistency of light syrup
*Meanwhile*
Mix slightly and let sit for 5 minutes
After 5 minutes add 3/4 cup pumpkin puree, oil and 1/4 sugar
Beat together until full combined and creamy, approximately 5 minutes on high
Slowly add 1/2 cup pumpkin and beat for an additional 5 minutes
Add chai tea and cinnamon and mix until fully incorporated
Serving
2 tbsp serving size (per individual) with apple slices, other fruits of choice or sweet crackers
Serve at a dinner party, birthday party or any other gathering.
Great to use for a desert course or to leave out as a snack
Storing and Reheating
Storing in airtight container in fridge for 1 month
Reheat in the microwave or leave chilled

Tricks
-Make sure to occasionally stir the sugar and water to prevent the sugar from burning
-Sugar will start to turn syrupy when the bubbles become thick and pop slower
-We used chai to help the pumpkin pop and we are finding out the chai tea is great for pumpkin anything and less expensive than all the other "pumpkin pie" spices
