Homemade Road Trip Treats

This past weekend we had a wedding to attend some 200 miles away from homebase, instead of risking the temptation to buy gas station snacks, I made some treats to take with us

I ended up making a sweet garbanzo snack and chewy corn crackers.

They were simple and very hands-off so i was able to make them while cleaning, packing and getting a variety of other chores done. 

The sweet garbanzo snack reminded us of Smacks Cereal from out childhoods, just with far less ingredients.

The corn crackers are a mix between a corn chip and a corn tortilla. Not super chewy like a corn tortilla but not as messy as a corn chip.
