7 Safe From The Heat Meals

Living in Texas we are about to enter the two hottest months of the year as well as school is about to start up again. That means hot, dry days, and super busy mornings and evenings. Many of these recipes can either be started in the morning and ready for dinner (depending on your slow cooker fanciness) or use them as a meal prep for the week. Regardless, you won't have to heat up your house. Let your AC have a break. Use your slow cooker.
The recipes listed can fit a variety of diets and can be tweaked if needed.

Great for vegetarians and bbqs or vegetarians at bbqs?...this is a soup you won't have to worry about boiling anything. Beans,  water, or baby sitting a pot of boiling liquid when the outside temp is in the 100s and the humidity is low...but I digress.

You can add this to any pasta, rice, or vegetable. Definitely has an Italian flair and if you either a) are comfortable with cooking pasta or rice in a slow cooker you can do it all at once or b) if you have a istand pot/rice cooker, put them side by side and dinner is super served. Look at you, planning and stuff.
